A Promise to Cheshire

My ways and feelings for her bewilders many
It seems they question the faith I have placed on her
Though my unwavered acts of love may be uncanny
Her affections that I seek brings me infinite splendor

The wonders that love can do to a person doesn't astound me
As much as the things we're willing to forgo
The comfort of homes and the virtues that we preach
Offered as a gift to a long lasting relationship

The trials that comes along the way will try to weaken
A bond built by respect, trust, love and harmony
But only the blind and faint hearts will be frighten
For I see the future in her and it alone will allow my heart to beat strongly

So I'm dedicating this to those who doubts my beliefs
In my soberest state I sit and think of all that is required
To keep my Cheshire happy and to fulfill all her desires
And I conclude that I will love her unconditionally regardless of all that will transpire
